The Dart Angling Association was formed in 1895 “to provide affordable fishing for its members and visitors alike” and it is still performing that function today.
In 1935 the equivalent of a full member now would have paid £3 for the season as the ticket below shows.
Today, the Association is fully committed to ensuring that:
- there is sustainable fishery for future generations of anglers to enjoy
- there will always be fishing available to its members on the River Dart
- its members remain free to enjoy all aspects of the sport of angling
