Organisations

AT logoThe Angling Trust – The Angling Trust is the representative body for game, coarse and sea anglers in England. It campaigns on behalf of anglers to protect fish populations and the aquatic environment.

Fish Legal – Formerly the Anglers’ Conservation Association, Fish Legal is now part of The Angling Trust. It is a non-profit making organisation set up to use the law to fight pollution and other damage to the water environment – both freshwater and marine – and to protect the rights of anglers and angling.

Tide Tables – This is a useful set of tide tables for use when fishing Totnes Weir Pool. Unlike some tables they do include Totnes. Ideally you would fish the pool while the tidal height is less than 1.5 metres. When fishing past midnight remember to view the next day’s tables when appropriate.

Dartmoor weather – Dartcom’s Dartmoor weather station. Webcam also available.
